This was a solid stay. All the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a room with two queens and pullout sofa which was enough for 5 people. The room offers a stove, full fridge, dishes, cups. silverware, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster. Easy to make yourself at home, grab groceries to cook. Grab and go breakfast in the morning is great if you are traveling with kids (cereal, instant oatmeal, fruit, muffins-assorted flavors, yogurt-assorted flavors, danishes-assorted flavors, coffee, tea, flavored creamers, heat and eat breakfast sandwiches). Descent size pool that goes from 3-5 feet. Pool towels provided. Outdoor seating by and close to the pool. Three floors, one elevator that worked efficiently. The AC in the room worked extremely well. My only issue with the room was it smelled like a cigarette and minor wall paper peeling (nothing a little fabreeze can't fix). Beds comfy as well as the pillows very soft and fluffy. If in the area for work or a quick getaway, I would stay here again. Scoops icecream shop (they also serve food) and mini golf are 50ft away...so quick bites, desert, and entertainment close. Shopping, grocery stores, restaurants are no more than 15 minute drive.

The rooms are kept very clean. The staff is very accommodating and kind. This is a good place to stay for long or short term, whether it be for business or just visiting the area!

My son & nephew should have complained when they checked in on Saturday, but thought to make the best of it as only staying one night. The room had a musky smell to it and when they woke up Sunday morning, both were coughing terribly. My son broke out with a fever late Sunday afternoon and we took him to see a doctor Monday. His coughing has not improved and his throat is still bothering him a lot. I have called and left several phone messages with the hotel to have the manager call me back, to complain, but have not receive any call back to date. I guess their service is as terrible as their hotel room. There are many hotels in Lancaster and I’ll surely go to others first before coming back to this one. Word of advice to anyone looking at my review, stay away from this hotel.

This hotel gave me quiet a surprise when I stayed for a weekend. I was skeptical due to the reviews but my experience proved otherwise. The front desk lady was nice and it was quick and easy to get to my room. The lobby was very clean and they had free coffee and tea as well as a seating area and a tv. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke but as we entered the room it was completely gone so it was not much of a bother. The suite was very spacious, clean, and equipped with all the supplies we need; from towels, extra blankets, paper towels, cups, and most importantly they provided kitchen supplies as well. Note: the kitchen supplies are usually limited to 2 people hence, 2 spoons and forks. The bed was super comfy and the tv surprised me with its modern model, offering HD tv. Some things to know before you go is: they do offer breakfast but it is a grab & go, usually containing yogurt, muffins and coffee. The kitchen contains dishes, cups, a full size fridge, and a dish washer with the dish washer soap. The shampoo supplied with the bathroom is very cheap so I would bring my own. Other than that, Mainstay Suites offered a very well-rounded stay. I highly recommend it and will be returning to the beautiful area of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
