Second time being there, first time for the Valentines event. Everything was amazing. Food was great alittle expensive but tasted great. Merchadise is really nice. I have a full outfit of Field of Screams merch now. Actors and sets are always great.

I had an absolute blast here! This was my first haunted experience wherein the actors were very much interactive. Despite staffing shortages and limitations as a result of COVID, I think the venue did a fantastic job with making up for it. The animatronics, setup, props, special effects and makeup were very well done. Was it spooky, you ask? It was this day that I learned not to lean on my sister should we end up in a Blair Witch Project or Bates Motel situation; she will indeed leave me behind. My sister also calmed my nerves during 3 of my significant scares. Did not expect the actors to be interactive, but it was awesome. Lol. I enjoyed the live music and activities outside of the haunted houses. The lines were long, but they moved rather quickly. Staff were helpful throughout the venue as well. Overall, I had a great time! I only took 1 star away because it would've been nice to have more actors for the Nocturnal Wasteland attraction. And there was one instance where the general admission lines entry was paused for a significant length of time to allow VIP entry. This wouldn't have been a huge issue, but the VIP line was empty and the GA line entry was still paused.

Definitely LOVED the whole experience. This was on of my favorites this year. My only complaint was for the hay ride, having a row of people sit in the middle ruins it for those who are seated there. They don't get the full experience as one who is seated on the edges.

Thoroughly enjoyed the various attractions at the Field of Screams. My favorites were the Den of Darkness and the Circus piece of the Haunted Hayride. For a fan of horror this is a great place to add in one's Halloween celebration. 2 hours flies by when you're having a frightfully good time 🎃

How old do u have to be?

We recommend that you are at least 12 years old but that is just our recommendation. As J Boothe noted, his son was 8 years old when he first attended and depending upon the child, this may be fine. It is all relative to the maturity and the ability for the individual to handle scary things. Heck, some adults can't handle it!

I'm planning a trip for October of this year. How much are VIP tickets? And do they have to be bought additionally with a standard ticket?

Armando Santana | Aug 9, 2019
Field of Screams (Owner) | Aug 10, 2019

Hello Armando. Most people choose to purchase the ticket that includes entrance in to all four of our attractions. It is $35 per person except on Saturdays in Oct when it is $37 online or $40 at the door. You may add the VIP option either online when you purchase or on site whether you have pre-purchased your tickets or not. The VIP price varies depending upon the night. It will range from $10 to $25 additionally per person. The slowest nights (like Thursdays) it is only $10 extra. The busier nights like Saturdays in October, it is an extra $25 per person. Our online tickets will be live on our website mid-June. www.fieldofscreams.com/tickets

Have people gotten hurt during the attractions?

I've never heard of it happening but I think that the risk is certainly there. But if you follow the rules and are completely aware of your surroundings (as much as you can be due to scares and surprises), alert, and cautious, I'm sure the risk is pretty low.

Do the actors touch people?

They touch you, but it's honestly just a tap on the leg or arm. They don't grab.

Adam Von Albrecht | Aug 10, 2018

I agree with everyone on this..purses are permitted but will just end up being cumbersome while moving thru the events. Try to just use your pockets.
