National installed a new furnace and ac unit in my old house so the first thing I did when I moved into my new house was call them and ask that they come out and check the current system. Their staff is very knowledgeable and I trust what they say. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Questions & Answers

How do I know when my ducts need to be cleaned?

Experts do not recommend duct cleaning as an effective way to improve indoor air quality. This is because the bulk of dust and other indoor air contaminants that enter your home through your duct system actually come from the crawlspace, attic and walls. Leaky ducts allow this dust to enter the duct system, where it is delivered into the building’s living space. With Aeroseal, these leaks are eliminated, and any existing dust or debris existing within the duct system is eradicated through your HVAC system’s filters. Cleaning your ducts is necessary only in a few extreme cases, such as rodent infestation or if ducts are sufficiently clogged to prevent adequate airflow.

My house is cold. Do I need a larger furnace?

There are many causes for a house being uncomfortably cold in the winter, and there are at least as many solutions. Typically, a cold house is a drafty house with significant air leakage and insufficient insulation. Sometimes it can be caused by a leaky duct system or a poorly performing furnace. The experts at National Heating & Air Conditioning can help you determine the exact cause of discomfort in your home, and offer the most cost effective solution to solve it.
