It's impossible to get an appt. less than a month out with my doctor, and the "acute care" doctor who was filling in was not helpful at all. I called again 1 week later with same issue, and was told I'd receive a call back and nobody has called back. Thank God I had some old antibiotics and WebMD. Poor medical care to say the least.

UPDATE: I know with COVID things are more channeling for doctors’ offices but having travelled out of state for healthcare I am disappointed how less professional the staff at Primary Care West is in comparison. I felt treated like a number there. They also don’t seem to have any on-call docs anymore. ————////———— I want to highlight the after hours care they provide. The answering service takes a messages and sends it to the doc. There’s someone on call 24/7. The on call doc called me back in 5 min and it turned out to be my primary physician. She was able to help me there and then. This is a great service! The docs at the clinic are excellent. The customer service at reception sometimes isn’t terribly friendly but they ate working on it.

Honestly I really hate to have to do this but the quality of care here has not been up to par for quite some time. Let me start by saying I understand that due to short staff and current Covid procedures things may not be running as smoothly as they once have. I had an appointment on 8/31 I went and was told that I could have a diagnostic procedure done right at the office. When I went to the desk they told me that was incorrect and that I would need to go somewhere else. I made an appointment with imaging that very day went to imaging on 9/8 I’ve called this office a total of 5 times and sent 3 messages via the portal only to be told today that they have no record of me even going to imaging on 9/8… We are now 2 weeks past my initial Drs appointment and one week past me having imaging and as I type this I still do not have the results. I called imaging and was told that they faxed the results to PCW 5 days ago. Where is the fax? MOC refaxed while I was on the phone and still no one from the office that I’ve been going to for 5 years has responded to me. My anxiety is through the roof right now because I could have gotten an ultrasound at the ER and had results and an in office appointment by now. Christine Dec was my provider she is gone now so I guess this is just the confirmation I needed to leave.
