We stayed here one night after a week hiking the Smokies. This is quite a unique place, not for those who are looking for luxury accommodations, but definitely a good place to go while hiking the AT if you are looking for a bed and a place to re-supply. Very interesting crowd gathered around the fire at night, sharing stories and music. We had reserved a cabin and confirmed it the day of arrival, however when we got there they had given it to someone else and we had to sleep in the bunkhouse but they made it up to us. I would stay here again if hiking through.

Only passing thru section hiking but parked there and arranged shuttle service. Really good people and cool place. Will use them again.

Great hostel + folks, loved the work for stay, hot shower, laundry, supreme pizza, + wood fire heater. Y'all rock, thank you! Unhurry (Ga ---->Me)

The concensus around this place is that it's the most fun you'll ever have but kind of the worst. And yeah, is the food in the pantry months out of date? Sure. Are the people a little strange? No doubt. Are there dead mice in the walkways? You bet. But I had fun. 4 stars, would stay here again.

About an 1/8 mile from the trail, on a gravel road
Not for tractor trailers as it's a one lane gravel road, but six wheels and under, sure.
No RV parking. No cell service
