Why is my mail coming 3-4 hours later ? and why can’t I call the post office about my mail or carrier? All of this is why I don’t opt to use mail for anything important. However all new jobs require you to wait for a paycheck via mail for several weeks if not months before properly processing direct deposits. Even though most apps and companies can do so within 1-3 days easily now. It shouldn’t take over 7 days for a check from a city 8 minutes away to be delivered. After watching every evening while I wait for any mail of importance and seeing my carriers tactics I’m convinced my new mailman is skipping our neighborhood or atleast or end of the end apartment complex on some days. What unreal is that he very easily could and no one would know or care. Why are we still not updating our mailing system in this country when the private delivery companies are and we are supposed to have an oversight hierarchy placed within our government and funding for this already?

Barely deliver peoples mail on time and they always have different people delivering peoples mail.

Black out the bar code on the letter , a machine is reading it and your carrier is not catching it. Put it back out for your carrier again . Machine error and human error .
The Post Office lobby is only open til noon on Saturdays.
It'll most likely go back to the post office , until u pick it up. I would even call the post office and tell them to hold it for you, for assurance.
They have one at the library on north Washington street in Rome.
