We used Foundation 1 in April 2019. We paid $10k. I called 2 days ago and left a message explaining that we are selling our house and need to speak to someone to get a copy of our warranty for the realtor (our copy was packed by mistake). I heard nothing. I called at 8am yesterday, sent a text and an email. Heard nothing. I left a message at noon again at the office and on the evaluators cell phone, at 3pm I left another message. Each message was left with our information and what we needed. In 48 hours no one has bothered to return our phone calls, text or email.I feel that a professional business would return at least one call, text or email within 24 hours. When I needed work done and was a new customer this was true. If you cannot count on a call back, the warranty is worthless. It’s 2 days after original review. I visited both addresses on their web site. Their main office on Blue Ridge is locked up and looks deserted. They moved out of their office in Overland Park and an adjoining business said they heard they are filing bankruptcy.

I had a sump pump installed in my home to prevent flooding. However, they never confirmed that the sump pump was functional. After having my basement flooded with a dysfunctional sump pump again after installation, I called for several weeks and was unable to reach anyone to schedule an appointment. When I finally made contact with an employee he informed me that Foundation 1 was no longer in business. I had to pay out of pocket for another company to come and do the installation after contacting the manufacturer who supplied me with another sump pump.

Set up an appointment 2 weeks early. Come the day of the appointment no one shows. Waited 30 min and then called the office. Went to voicemail and left a message asking what the situation was. Still have not heard anything. Cannot recommended.

We had good experiences with this company until they completely ghosted us. We have thousands of dollars worth of work in process with them and they have disappeared! They won't return phone calls or emails for over a week. A trip to their main office location shows their place chained up and abandoned. Their second office location is an executive suite and the receptionist says she hasn't seen them for a while. Not sure what happened, but they left us high and dry and we have no idea what happened to them.
