I visited here a few weeks back for some cash before my trip and I certainly will be back. They had all the currencies I needed. I was worried about finding Jordanian Dinars, but they even had that here! Good exchange rates, very low fee, and Bruce was very nice and friendly!Thank you for using Foreign Currency Exchange Services, Fred. I hope you had a memorable time on your trip. If you have any excess currency left, please bring it in so that I can exchange it for you. Thank you again. Bruce

I traveled 6hrs, one way, to purchase my currency and Bruce (the manager) made it worth the long drive. He even recommends where to get great barbecue, for dinner, before traveling back. Fantastic person and great serviceThank you for using FCES, Joel. I am glad that I could be of help with your foreign currency as well as recommending some good BBQ. Thank you again.

Hi Amina. There is a flat US$5.00 transaction when we sell foreign money to you. When we buy back your excess currency when you return, there is no transaction fees.
Why would there? They are a good service and only charge 5 USD to exchange. I get my Euro from them whenever i go to Berlin Germany, i like to have some pocket money also when in Berlin. There is also places that prefer cash in Germany. So yes good place. Good luck finding a place to park!! That's the only complaint i have is parking and have change with you for the meters lol. Never use that currency place in the airports, they are crooks!
Hi Lisa. Ghana cedis is a restricted currency, meaning it is illegal to bring their currency in or out of the country (and is subject to confiscation when arriving with some cedis). That means there is no market for the currency whether it is at a bank or currency exchange kiosk. Also, there was a change in denominations of their bills around 2007. If you have bills dated 2006 or earlier, it would take 10,000 of them to make one new cedi. You may be able to sell them on eBay to a collector. Hope this helps you. Bruce (Foreign Currency Exchange Services)
I, d like to exchange euro into dollars....what is the exchange rates?
Yes sure
The exchange is while you are present. There may be a short line but it's well worth it. Friendly exchanges with foreign insights and a smile. ;)
They only accept bills.
FCES ceased exchanging Iraqi dinars in August 2014. It was not a popular vacation destination (Iraq) and our currency brokers were not stocking it as they did in the past.
I do not work at the Foreign Currency Exchange. I am a first time client. Their services and courtesy were excellent. You can contact them directly by phone. Their number is on their website.
Yes, they have it. You can call them. Do you know the phone no.
Hi Bartholomew. In most cases, goods in Zimbabwe are priced in US dollars. The old currency dated in the early 2000s (up to the 100 trillion notes) were taken out of circulation in 2009. They have reissued smaller notes but there are restrictions on the new bank notes. Our currency brokers have not stocked this currency due to low demand and possible volatility.
Hi Angie. FCES does not buy or sell Canadian coin. Please call me at (248) 594-6655 so that I can give you a contact for your coin. Thank you. Bruce
Hi Rim. Due to the small demand for Lebanese pounds as well as our currency brokers do not stock that foreign currency, we are unable to exchange (buy/sell) it. You may be able to call some coin dealers (some deal with paper notes as well) in the area. Hope this helps.
Hi Sarah. Yes, you can exchange the Bolivian bolivianos (current paper notes only) at Foreign Currency Exchange Services. Please call us at (248) 594-6655 so that we can describe the bills over the phone. We do not charge a fee when buying back your currency. Looking forward to helping you. Thank you. Bruce
Depends on the currency and how much you need. I needed more Norwegian currency than they had on hand, but they had it for me the next day.
Hi Benjamin. We accept paper currency only. You can try either the airport or local coin dealers for your coins. It is "hit and miss" with coin dealers.
Rates change daily. You can call them in the morning and they will tell you what it is. They are very nice people
Hi Brittany. As Sharon mentioned, FCES buys back euro (paper currency only) at our daily exchange rate with no fees. Please contact us with any questions. Thank you. Bruce
If we are buying Canadian dollars (current notes only) from you, there is no transaction fee. If we are selling Canadian dollars to you, there is a flat US$5.00 transaction fee. Please note that exchange rates (buy or sell) change daily.
Yes, we sell Kuwaiti dinars and carry them in stock. Please contact us at (248) 594-6655 on the amount of currency you need. Thank you.
Yes, we buy and sell Canadian dollars (current notes only) but not any Canadian coin. If you have coin, please call us as we have contacts who buy back the coin.
Hi Brigitte. There is a parking structure that is a half block away from the Merrillwood Building (at 251 East Merrill Street). Limited meter parking is available on East Merrill between Old Woodward and Pierce Streets.
Hi Kirty. FCES can exchange notes that are currently used in that country without a problem. Please note that we do not exchange any foreign coins.
The Ghana cedi is a restricted currency and our brokers do not stock (buy or sell) it either. The demand for cedis is very low and is recommended to exchange while in Ghana. You can try your local coin dealers to see if they are interested in purchasing your Ghana money. Hope this helps you.
FCES exchanges Omani rials but not Omani baisa. The baisa are fractional bank notes (for example, an 100 baisa note is only worth 0.10 rials) and our brokers are accepting only the Omani rial notes.
What possessed you to ask that question?
Ethiopian birr is a restricted currency and cannot be exchanged at FCES' office location. When a currency is restricted, it means that the country wants to control the flow of the currency in and out of the country and/or that currency's exchange rate. You will find that most currency exchange places or banks will not stock this currency because of that reason.
