BULLET HOLE THROUGH WINDOW. BROKEN OVEN AND STOVE FOR TWO+ MONTHS. OVERCHARGED $750 FOR LAST MONTH’S RENT. The leasing office has turned over 5+ times in the 3 years that I lived at the Enclave, each group worse than the last. They refuse to fix anything until the new tenants move in. The gates to the “gated community” have not worked in two years. Because of this, there was a shooting in our complex that led to a bullet hole through my window in the middle of the night. I was never contacted by the leasing office about the issue and despite my pleading to have it replaced, my window was left like that through the day I moved out. The same issue with my oven, the electrical board went out and almost started a fire and it was left broken (over 2 months) through the day I moved out. There is trash everywhere, outdoor lights that flicker all night if they work at all, issues with amenities… The last year has been hell and I have been so excited to move out. In my last month’s rent I was overcharged $750 and when I won a disputed charge with my bank, the Enclave was told I owed a return check fee of $75. I was told overpaying the fees was my fault because I did not turn off autopay. This place is made to take advantage of people by overcharging them and never fixing any issues. I know there are positive reviews here, but PLEASE read this one and know there are better and more affordable options in Lexington.

I have lived here for 8 months and I am SO happy with my apartment. Any time I have a work order maintenance is super quick to come out and always so helpful. The office staff is AMAZING. I love the amenities, the gym is always clean and I love that Enclave has two dog parks. It is very conveniently located next to two Krogers, and my favorite bar Shamrocks. Thank you all for being so great!!

UPDATE: As of the edit of this review, my water and AC have been fixed since roughly 7/7/21 and I have received a credit on my my next rent payment for the months I went without AC. While I appreciate the work and effort that was put forth, I will most likely not renew my lease. Rent at this location is somewhat reasonable but there are other places that are much nicer for around the same price and, even though they have been fixed, I have been discouraged from the maintenance issues I had. BEWARE: I've lived here for 2.5 years. I've had little to no issues until recently. As of today's date (6/25/2021) I have been without consistent air conditioning since 4/4/2021 with the average temp inside my apartment now being 80 degrees. I have been given many excuses and no answers as to when this will be fixed. Furthermore, I've had hot water issues since February of 2021 as well (sometimes warm, sometimes cold but never hot) and now my hot water has gone out too. I've been understanding because of lack of maintenance workers for the property but considering that there are multiple specialist in the city, my understanding has died off. At this time, I'm speaking with a lawyer to either have this corrected or to be release from the lease entirely.

The worst place I’ve ever lived in, the apartments may look good at first but inside everything is breaking. Try to call maintenance and wait for weeks, last winter the heat didn’t work, I was in a freezing apartment for more than a week …
