211 is for what.im going to go there will they turn me away?just never did this.thank you for your help.stay safe
Anyone can stay, but you have to go through DSS first, they will assign you a case worker to assist you with finding what you need, be it job, SSI, medical insurance etc...all the way up to housing.
Call Vera house they are amazing
Call 211 for shelter placement
No, I don't think so, they have a Cafeteria were everybody eats.
They need to know were you were living and how you became homeless and can you go back then you have 30 days to get your case open from dss and look for a place to live based on your living arrangements
Everyone must go to Onondaga county DSS 1st
That's a good question as one of the disabled. He'll need to discuss it with the young woman in charge. As a Veteran, he will have to notify the local VA. Then proceed to address his care and eventual discharge.
