This is a tried and true gem! I've been going here for decades, usually for a philly cheese-steak supreme with sauce, peppers an onions, which are hard to make it home with (one handed driving... mmm). There are many great things to get here, the club sandwich on sourdough with avocado or the California version of the cheese-steak for example. They will do custom adds... so Today I got the Cheese-Burger Hoagie on the roll with provolone and added bacon and Ortega peppers. Sooo good 15 bucks that way, but worth it. The peppers are great here so another great is to order the Greek Salad but I swap chicken for a couple of chopped burger patties and add the Ortega peppers; the ranch they make is quite nice too.

I just experienced one of the most horrible situations. I went into this restaurant after being a customer for 10 years. I noticed a new staff so I tried to explain to the owners son what I could not have on my regular meal I order. He seemed very agitated I assume because they were busy( which is a good thing)...I watched as my meal was prepared and noticed that what I asked not to be put on my food was actually placed on my food. I informed him and he got very angry and threw the meal in the trash and said angrily he would make it over and said sarcastically " do you ask subway to do that"... I asked him could he repeat that because I wanted to be sure that's not what he said, because I would have surely left the establishment.... Well he would not repeat it. I went outside and on the way out I saw his father and waved for him so he could come talk to him. As soon as I tried to explain what happened his father with racial undertone started cussing loud in front of my wife. I quietly decided to just walk away because after what he had just done I did not want to make a poor decision that could have cost me my freedom. I went to my car and told my wife to stay here . I went back to the restaurant and waved quietly to the owner to come to me so I could talk to him. I quietly told him that what he did in front of my wife was wrong and how we were treated was wrong. He stated with racial undertone again " I guess that's your queen and I guess I cant curse in her presence "...I said to him you had no right to be cussing and carrying on in front of my wife, especially because we did no wrong... He then tried to give me back my 40 dollars and tip... I refused and walked away fast, because I was now burning inside with fury and knew that I had to rely on God's power to avoid doing the wrong thing. It became obvious that this owner only smiles to get your money and under the heat of pressure from being busy( which is really a good thing) he and his son lost site of human respect and their TRUE CHARACTER became exposed. I'm thankful that God kept me in good composure to not react to the clear racial undertones. It also became apparent that the old staff were truly respectful and accommodating. I know this because i referenced them and he said "f" ( four letter word) them and don't come back. I've never been so insulted. I respect everyone to my best. I can see clearly how evil spirits influence people. Me and my wife were simply trying to enjoy a lunch. This was unfounded. I was so hurt and insulted that I simply let them keep the money and tip...WOW...
