They don't answer there phones or do the call backs like they are supposed to. Worse I was sent a notice saying if I didn't interview with them they'd stop my food assistance yet when the interview time came no one called like they were supposed too. I tried calling myself and was on hold for an hour before they hung up on me I called back and was on hold for another 1.4 hours and got hung up on again. Maybe answer your freaking phones or follow your own scheduled interviews

This is one of the worst cities in America. Its the poorest with over 100 thousand people. Its extremely dangerous. Move west! Trust me...its a whole different world.
They don't help you find a place .you find it then go to them for help..don't move to Syracuse its sucks
you can't tell.. but its normally almost 100 per person. but it all depends on your situation
You have to call jobs + for the form
ALWAYS ALWAYS send mail to ANY Government offices with delivery confirmation or signature required. Yes it costs a couple of dollars but it saves your rear end. I firmly believe these offices just throw mail in the trash constantly. Every time I've NOT sent this way my mail was "lost." Trust me, save yourself the headache and spend the extra money for piece of mind. You can always contact your local food bank. If you've waited this long to notify them then chances are your case was closed and you'l may have to completely reapply. If you'd contacted them sooner they usual can just "turn it back on." Good luck my friend l.
Depending on who are dealing with, you will get someone who will do the job, or someone who is just getting a check and putting in time.
U email the wrong person
Less the $800 month
No just be there early to beat the lines.
Yes I went the other day...you can turn in your paperwork and you'll be assigned a caseworker that will call you...they are still working from home but there are people that are there to take your paperwork.....
No
It takes like a day or two but you will get it quickly you can call community health center
You would need the paper work saying child support is paid off... Take it to DMV
They will give you a landlord form. Have a landlord fill it out and you get 465 off rent. If you have nothing. Ive never been able to find a landlord that would take one. But thats all they do.
You need to call Child Support Enforcement, not Social Services. I doubt they'll fax it to you, though. You'll likely have to go in and get it or wait for it to be mailed.
NO
Basic shelter form to change the case from one City to another

It goes by your income and how many people you support. This is a question you should ask a worker.
Call the social service department food stamp department to report it. You can also go to their office and speak to someone.
I knew a guy who would sell them back to the office. It was in MA...and I think they got in trouble. But wow...the office was literally handing crack heads 100 bucks instead of 200 in stamps.
No
