I’ve been doing grocery delivery here for almost 2 years & it’s gotten so bad lately. The last 2 deliveries they didn’t deliver the alcohol I had ordered & I had to call for a refund & then I was given someone else’s groceries when I did a pick up order & I had to go back to the store to drop them off & get my groceries (which were covered in crushed eggs). This delivery I’m missing over 50% of my groceries. Refunds take 3-5 days but I was missing all of my cold food I needed for the next 2 nights I work. I was told if I wanted my groceries I’d have to come in & shop regularly or re-order for the next day. I’m lucky I had the money to buy my groceries AGAIN while I’m waiting for my refund to come. Some people don’t have that option & it’s disgusting to think Safeways best resolution is for them to re-buy groceries they never received when they may not have the money to do it. If I paid for this stuff to be delivered and it never was than Safeway should be sending out another delivery to bring me the stuff I already paid for. Not suggesting I spend more money to buy the things I already bought!

I am a Safeway regular customer and have always preferred their quality of service and sale prices. I would rate my shopping experience with Safeway overall the multitude of locations I have visited with five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars, but every once in a while I have an issue with the decisions corporate makes for a specific town that brings their average way down to three ⭐⭐⭐ stars. This time while visiting the south Renton location, I was blown away by the much larger prices for their products. Especially sale items in comparison to my hometown store in Saint Helens Oregon where I usually shop at least once a week. I am going to have to chop it up to the higher price of living there in the much more populated southern Lake Washington neighborhood in King County vs my much less populated rural neighborhood in Columbia County along the bank of the River.

The cashier was wonderful! Unlike the cashier that took off his mask to blow his nose & was going to touch my food w/out sanitizing his hands. This place needs to be remodeled. It is kluddered which makes it look so unclean.

Possibly you could just call them give them a call customer service
Just make sure that you wear a mask and say 6 ft away from everyone it's pretty good usually early noon late evening is a good time to go because it's hardly anyone in there

Not all credit cards are ran equally. If a credit card scans through without the notification to check for ID then that problem is between you and your banking institution. Don't take your frustrations out on the checkers at the store who are doing their job.
Safeway's has a variety of tray's that can be preordered
