This place is simply not good and a waste of time and energy.

I have been their twice and to be honest it is a solid place good food, and they didn't prevent you from getting full you were always allowed seconds when I was there. I always had pain management and they never judged. The only things I didn't like was I couldn't smoke, but they did provide a patch to help. That was nice, and the other is some of the activities you get treated like a child in gym or art class. They had good staff, and they do treat you well. Thwy let you call you loved ones as much and as long as you want unless someone else needs the phone but that isn't a knock on them they try to be very fair. Ohi guess I have one more at night I couldn't sleep but I was for tols I had to stay in my room with the lights off. Couldn't even read a book without someone getting upset during checks but most were polite only a couple who put me down for my sleeping disorder. Overall they would still be my first choice if I needed to go back for help.

My Son was admitted earlier this year and we were both scared. He is Autistic and has been on many medications that failed to really help him until SVBH. They got his medications sorted out and spent time talking to him so that he knew what to expect. He's been to therapy, Psychiatrists and more than one provider. One short 3 day stay at SVBH made a huge difference. Their team helped my Son finally get the one on one care that he needed. His medications are now exactly suited to what he needs. He's had no thoughts of suicide and he's confident in his abilities to manage his anxiety, anger and stress. What more can a Mom ask for. I'm currently working on my own mental health struggles and can say based on our experience that if I need help, I will seek theirs. They know what they're doing!

I work at sturmontville and occasionally work at Behavioral health,. Is my understanding she has to put you on the list to allow you to see her. You will have to come during visitor hours. You cannot just stop by or call or even ask if she's there. They cannot give you that information because of HIPAA. She has to be the one to give you permission to come visit.
Call their general office number and ask them to transfer you to Records.
You should be more specific about the people that interacted with you. And what part of the facility you are talking about, the hospital or the clinic. If is about the mental hospital, they have many securities and protocols that could be horrible for you but it is for the best of the patience and everyone. Lastly, this facility is one of the best of this country. You should see others before complain.
Because of HIPPA guidelines, information of any kind about patients is private and secure.
