Stopped by today with my nephew and interrupted the guys watching a Chiefs game. All the guys were super friendly despite the interruption and Jamie took me and my 4 year old nephew on a tour of the station opening various compartments and letting him sit in different vehicles. Very much appreciate him taking the time to make not only a 4 year olds day, but this 34 year old as well.

I'm not exactly sure which fire department services 85th street and Holmes RD. Our alarm started a few minutes before midnight and it's now 13:37AM!!!!! Still no fire department. When I called the non emergency number they said someone just called a few minutes prior to me calling. At this time the alarm had been sounding off for over 20 minutes. I asked them, wasn't the fire department automatically notified or dispatched to a fire alarm? It's their big red box in our lobby? Are you ever connected to our box. He said he would put in a service or maintenance ticket to check it out! It's now 12:42am. And still no fire department! Our building would have been totally burnt to the ground if it was a real fire. I will definitely be following up with this. They have to do better than this!
