First time visiting this establishment. Always good while you are entering you see wood outside and the aroma of meat being smoked. Had the special which included ribs, french fries, smokey beans bread and a pickle, bread and Included a soft drink as well. Portions were generous and delicious. Ribs were fall of the bone and very tender. Loved the beans they had a genuine smoke flavor to them. Would have preferred the bread to be toasted but not a game changer for me. Also had a regular pulled pork sandwich. Very generous there as well on the portion. Staff was very polite and even offered recommendations and pointed out the special too me.

Worth the price. They have a different special every day. Burnt ends and pulled pork both tie at my favorite things here. Staff are friendly too.

Great hole in the wall. Best chicken in KC, they smoke it, then fry it (no breading). Everything else is well above average, which is saying something for a town known for its BBQ. Outdoor seating is available, takeouts are fast, and a great place to get a good lunch in a reasonable amount of time.

Burnt ends dinner was very good. Baked beans were excellent, as was the cole slaw. Their bbq sauces were among the best I’ve ever had… anywhere. Highly recommended!
