So exciting that the have been purchased and reopened. Movies include today's blockbusters, indies, exclusive content, and such. You should really check out their FB page, and other sites if they have them. I think they are going to update their chairs as well at some point, they don't have as many concessions, but the price, customer service, and cozy feeling is perfect for me and my family and friends. That's all that matters! 💖

Re-opened. Now showing weekly classic movies too. Last night I saw Back to the Future and a couple of weeks ago I saw the original Matrix! Brand new movies too. Real butter on popcorn, very friendly knowledgeable staff and new more comfortable seats on the way.

It's great to see that the new owners are keeping the place clean and up to date. The concessions stand has more options than when I visited in 2019, some of the auditoriums have noticeably new equipment. Great place, and I hope they can keep this up!

How old do you have to be to see a rated R movie ? I know some places it's 17 and some it's 18 and I was wondering what the rule was at the Cinema in Salem Ma.

17. That is the official age implemented by the MPAA for films they have given an R rating to.

Standard market rates. I think i paid $12. which is same as i pay at big chains. Just verified at their site. Tickets are $12 and they have discount tuesday $8 showings

Someone doesn't get dead baby jokes...joking aside Baby & Me sounds so cool! If I was a mother I'd take part. And if I couldnt for 1 week it wouldn't be the end of my world. Especially since the cinema is in charge.
