I never write reviews but this place is fantastic and deserves all the praise. As a newbie to vinyl, I found them to be super helpful, practical, and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service and there was an adorable dog in the shop too. They have more than records. There are skateboards, books, apparel. If I hadn’t brought my kids I would have spent a lot more time browsing. Will be back very soon!

I'm so glad there is an alternative to larger record stores in the bay area. (I love them too, but just saying) This place has a great variety of new vinyl. Plus a nice selection of used records as well. My sons barber told us about this shop. (Thanks, Wes) As my son continues to grow his collection, he will learn the beauty of supporting his local record shop.

Thanks for asking. We have been going above and beyond on our safety protocol through the pandemic. We sanitize all touch surfaces daily and have 3 HEPA filters in use around the shop at all times. Since the numbers have come down, we no longer require an appointment for indoor shopping, but we are only allowing two people or family groups into the shop at a time, and you have to have either an N95/KN95 mask or double mask (medical under cloth.) We have medical masks available for customers who show up without one. If you are immuno-compromised, feel free to contact me and we can schedule a solo-shopping appointment at 11:30 before the shop officially opens at noon. - Nic (owner) Up The Creek Records
