This happened a few years back, I was in the area doing some work and needed to get online to upload some documents. I had my laptop with me and would normally head for the nearest Starbucks, but I still was doing some work in Phelan and didn't want to be driving 20+ miles to the nearest Starbucks. So I headed to the local library. I have a library card, but never carry it with me. I talked with the lady at the front counter and asked if it were possible to get internet access to upload some documents. I said that I have a library account, that I didn't have my card and asked if maybe she could look it up under my name. There was no hesitation, she directed my over to a nearby table and on a piece of paper wrote down the log on information. I had the same great experience in Lucerne Valley also.

Love this library, it's small, and although selection is limited they can have something brought in from another branch. The staff is sweet and helpful. They have great programs for kids too.

Love our little library. Been going and taking my children since it first opened. So glad it's open again.
