Cool little rock formation but just so much trash and glass would not recommend for kids

This place has been called Deadman’s Point long before Bear Valley & HWY18 became such a dangerous intersection for vehicles. It was named because of the many skeletons from settlers and/or indigenous people that died crossing the desert and were found there, as it was a place people naturally gravitated to for shelter, and the huge rock that resembles a skull must have been morbidly inviting.

Questions & Answers

We're is the off-road shooting area?

I know there is a shooting range further up highway 18 towards Lucerne Valley

I see the road leading to Deadman (rocks) is block by a pile of sand. And in the far distance there's RVs. Could we still go or is this private property 🤔 ???

It's private property although if it's unmarked and the property the rvs are on shows no permanence or boundary then your good.do your thing .the rocks do not belong to anyone .I'm one of those RV people.👍
