Not always the friendliest, fast or efficient but I’ve grown to like this place. Patience is key with this place, overall, I recommend them.

I love this vet. They take such great care of my cats and me! Lol. I love how I can text them if I need anything and they’re always very kind and very helpful. Only place I trust with my cats. Thank you guys!

Don’t waste your time here, the facility is unkept, dirty and the staff are just as clueless and unorganized. I came here a few years ago and keep asking myself why I continue to try and give this place a chance, it’s too bad because it’s walking distance. When I brought my pup in for deworming the technician didn’t inject the medication correctly so I had to come back a second time to have it administered again because he didn’t get the full dose and still had worms. Fast forward a few years…I called to make an appointment for another deworming, I was quoted $45 on the phone. When I arrived I was told I had to fill out all the paperwork again because they threw my file away since it had been a couple of years (really? They were able to pull it up over the phone and I overheard them saying they couldn’t find it lol). So they told me to have a seat and I’d be called to bring the pup in back. 30 minutes go by and the vet comes out and tells the tech that they can’t see me because my pup needs to have a full physical and be tested for worms (I can hear everything). The tech calls my name and tells me I’ll have to reschedule and then pay additional $100+ for the full physical and testing in addition to the deworm. So frustrated! I walked out, never wasting my time with this place again.

Ms. Studer is correct, we only treat dogs and cats. We open at 8 am seven days a week, and close at 6 pm weekdays and 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays. There is a bird specialist at ACCESS and we think there is one at Center Sinai. Good luck. --Richard Baltin --Office Manager --Mar Vista Animal Medical Center

Do you treat dog rumors, such as removal when safe? and what is the cost for such a surgery?

I assume you mean tumors not rumors. I can't give a cost as it would depend on a variety of parameters.

What is the cost of a rabies shot?

Actually, the price now for a canine 3 year rabies vaccine is $21.50. No one has paid $37.50 in over a year! We have always had a Low Cost Vaccine Clinic, where all vaccines and some tests were offered at a lower price on Sundays. But since the Covid Pandemic started, we want to discourage large crowds gathering, as was usually the case during our vaccine clinic, so we started offering our clinic prices every day of the week.
