Miss (now Mrs.) Alyssa is the best Speech Language Pathologist anyone can ever hope for. When my son was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech we had a ton of questions, concerns and were anxious about what the future would hold for him. Having taken speech at other offices we were happy to have found an office where we were working with the owner who had lots of training with Apraxia. After a few weeks we were introduced to Miss Alyssa. Being a mama bear I was anxious, overprotective and plain worried about him switching therapists. Alyssa started by getting to know us both, my concerns, learning about what my son's interests were and how he learned the best. She was kind, gentle and has the patience of a saint. My son started making a ton of progress and really enjoyed going to speech therapy. Alyssa made it fun and he didn't feel like he was doing work, rewarding him with activities he enjoyed after part of their sessions. Not only was it great for him, it was great for me knowing I could trust her, and more importantly that he trusted her. She has a skill set that is hard to find, a diamond in the rough. She made a huge impact in our lives and we are forever grateful that we had the opportunity to work with her!

Look no further you have found the best SLP! Alyssa is a sweet, wonderful, caring and thoughtful speech therapist. She makes each session special for my son. She was very eager to learn all of his interests to make the sessions seem like less work for him and more fun :) Even though sessions are through zoom they are very interactive and engaging for my son. She always chose a fun background for session that would grab my sons attention. He enjoys working with Alyssa and so do I! She has awesome communication and is very professional. Alyssa is quick to respond to my emails and concerns when we are not in session and I always appreciate that! She is super friendly and is always smiling. Her sessions are very welcoming and she does an awesome job at working towards whatever interest my son has for the week :) We have been through many therapists and Alyssa has been the best to work with. She puts a lot of effort into each session and you can tell that she really cares and enjoys what she does. I would give her 10 stars if I could!

“Miss Alyssa likes True! Me too!” True is the character Alyssa posted as her Zoom background for my daughter. Alyssa took the time to find out which interests or characters my daughter enjoys, prior to meeting with her. I barely frontloaded my 3-year old with any information about who Miss Alyssa is, or what she will be doing on the computer with her, however she was immediately engaged from seeing how comfortable and familiar Alyssa’s greeting felt. Their rapport was established so naturally. My inquiry through the Tiny Babbles site was extremely user friendly, and Alyssa contacted me quickly and made the process of scheduling a screening such a breeze. Alyssa is not only professional, friendly, and patient with communicating information to adults and parents; more importantly she has an amazing gift in sharing and applying her expertise to the children. If you question how effective a therapy session could be via computer screens, then Alyssa will convince you of how positive an experience it can be. For frame of reference, I am an elementary special educator who taught virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic school closures, and I was beyond impressed of how productive, efficient, and engaging Alyssa’s therapy was within this virtual platform. Tiny Babbles with its founder and SLP, Alyssa exceeded any expectations I had entering this process. I highly recommend Tiny Babbles for any speech-language/communication related assistance or therapy!
