Burr Oak Cove Campground

Nifty little campground good for off grid trips, small tents or back of the truck bed tents/camper. Not much flat ground but we managed to get a mostly flat spot for the night and enjoyed a fire with the kiddos. No host staying at the campground overnight to monitor anything going on so there was some rowdy campers and a few speedy vehicles zooming around for some reason. (We stayed mid week, not a busyweekend)

No camp host or after hour ranger station. While there one of the groups were blaring music late at night and screaming and cursing all night. Then there was someone walking around the outside of our set up. Not family friendly or rv/camper set up friendly.

Great place to camp. Primitive camping with no electricity, but does have water fountains. Cost is $15 a night during summer and peal seasons. The cost is reduced once water is shut off for colder months.
