Good ice cream even though we didn't get one flavor that we ordered. We didn't appreciate them adding an additional $10 tip to our bill

this place used to be good when i was younger. i went back recently and the ice cream was whatever and the cashier practically begged my boyfriend and i to tip them. i work in the service industry and thought it was pathetic… i would never ask someone to tip me. also they double charged us for a milkshake, which is $11 and kind of gross. it gave me a stomach ache, i couldnt even drink half of it. if you want good ice cream, there’s literally a ben & jerrys on fort lauderdale beach and a publix on every corner

The ice cream was delicious. The service however was terrible. Was told to move with no room to move and form of payment still gone. Not sure I'd feel comfortable with dine in after that experience.

Try the Grape nut!
Loved out visit! Very very expensive but really enjoyed it.
Peak hours are weekends afternoon and evening, especially Sunday. But it's absolutely worth it!
I agree w the comments about the lines and some of the complaints, but it's a South Florida landmark for some of us and it's a nostalgia thing.
Yes, foot long. They were very good when I had them a few years ago. I stopped eating meat, so haven't had it recently.
They get their licorice from the national Candy store
That location is the original and opened in 1956
As far as I know you can not.
Call them. They have multiple flavors though
Do you mean the bass player?? Oh that's Billy!! Real I can't tell you.
Sorry, dont know, give them a call, good question
No the don't but they do have a waiting list that makes it a little easier. But everyone in you party has to be there to be seated. Its a great experience and worth the wait.
Not sure it will probably be best to actually call them
Yes
Hi Theresa, As Ernesto mentions below, we put a sparkler in the ice cream of the birthday girl, sound the siren and then sing Happy Birthday. The birthday child also gets a Birthday Crown, a commemorative Jaxson's coin, and they get to choose a candy from Jaxson's Candy Treasure Chest. As far as a wait is concerned, it's hit or miss but hopefully you should be in good shape on a Thursday at that time. Do your best to get everyone here at the same time as we seat parties once the entire group has arrived. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Yes
Depends on the date & time, before 6 is not bad at all. Worth the wait, even in the ice cream line, daily line after 6.
That type of question makes no sense. Call them or Google. If you want to know about the menu etc ask away
Yup
They turned me away by telling me that they were getting ready to close and then served the customer that was standing in front of me.
They do have sherbet. I went there with my daughter and her friend several months ago. Her friend is vegan. Unfortunately, their menu doesn't have too much but they did make a special salad for him. He also had the sherbert for dessert. They tried to be as accommodating as possible.
They reserve your seat outside in the Florida heat and say no popcorn or water and get all your ice cream to go while they try to push you out the empty store and available empty tables a free feeling of disrespect by their attitudes driving down the beach as a bonus no less!
