Such rude employees. I got there at 3:53 and they close at 4. I am not the type of person to stay past when they close. I was actually walking away and the man outside said “you got 5 minutes if you know what you are looking for” and I said “oh okay”. Anyway had been in there about a minute and the woman said “we close in 3 minutes” and I said “thanks!”. Not even a minute later she walks up and says “okay we’re kicking you out”. Eesh it wasn’t even 4:00. What a nightmare. First and last time I’m ever going here.

Friendly staff and a consistent rotation of items means it's a great place to drop by every once in awhile!

Unfortunately, the older ladies that were working here are very prejudice. It’s 2022 and everyone should be treated equally. I was visiting my family and thought I would venture out and visit the different thrift stores. As a veteran I thought it would be great for me to visit the Assistance League thrift. I walked in and wasn’t greeted..ok no biggie. So I grabbed a shopping basket and proceeded to look at the items they had. I noticed that a lady walked in right after me and she was greeted by the lady behind the counter. As I was shopping a lady was going around the store asking patrons if they wanted her to take their items and bring them to the front. Not once did she ask me and purposely turned her face the other directions refusing to acknowledge me. I walked to the counter to look at the jewelry and the lady behind the counter turned her back towards me. By this time, I realized I wasn’t being sensitive, they wanted me to know that I wasn’t welcomed. It’s sad that in 2022 prejudice is still active. I had a basket of items and put the basket down and walked out. No matter how much a like something, I cannot support a business that allows customers to be discriminated against. Please don’t support this business until they learn discrimination on any basis is not to be tolerated. Look at their previous reviews. Their lesson as not been learned yet.
