David is the best! Call the store looking for a very specific fire retardant blanket. David answered the phone. He went above and beyond looking for what I needed. Unfortunately, the store didnt have the exact item I was looking for. This however did not stop David from helping me. He went as far as finding the a blanket from another vendor. Receiving this level of customer service even when I didn't spend money in the store, must be a testament to the level of customer service Orvis provides to all its shoppers. Thanks Again!

Orvis has this rare policy that if you order online you need to pay $7 to return it or can go to a store (my wife bought the wrong size). If you go to this store they only then say they need the credit card used since they, unlike any other online vendor, don’t store the credit card. So then you need to go back if you don’t have it (it was on my wife’s card) And there is such chaos in the store that they say you run a risk that it will be lost if you leave it with the manager I get that this store doesn’t set the policy but that a retail store is unwilling to help due to there being too much chaos is really crazy and not customer centric Bottom line - don’t shop online with Orvis and probably don’t even shop in this store as they are not customer focused and are in chaos Post script - I contacted Orvis and they will refund the fee. So Orvis is more flexible than their retail store, which is sort of odd
