We had only did grounds trip - definitely would like to come back and try some cider. Area is well taken care of and has many interesting things around (treehouse!)

Great cidery to relax in the afternoon. The sweet flight was perfect for us, including selections of crisp apple, original, and tropical ciders. We also had the peach mango cider which is very refreshing. The pizza took a while, but the cidery is pleasant to just hang out during the wait. We've been twice now and would come back again! There are multiple parking lots, so a nice attendant guided us to the next lot over once the main parking was full on a sunny Saturday.

Amazing place to taste some good hard cider. Recommend the tree house tour for $25. Anthony was a amazing tour guide. Andrew is also one of the best bartender in the Hudson Valley. Recommend taking a growler home.

Great experience, food was amazing, had a great time and staff was wonderful. Tour needs more sampling but otherwise a good learning experience. Fire pits …

The web site says no outside food of beverages
They have a room in one of the buildings that can be rented, but I don't know any of the details.
Tie Dye Party 5pm-7.30pm
Yes I had no answer on website. Got table specifically because of Connor smokin grate bbq...loved it there
It'll still be chilly and possibly rainy. Most of the activity and cider bar is inside.
You can bring them but not to the area downstairs where the tour is. We left the kids at home as there isn't much for little ones to do in the winter. I understand it's more of a family venue in the warmer months.
It depends on what event is going on that particular day. As well as what day of the week, and what time of the year it is, as to whether they will have a live band. And, what time the live band will start playing, as well as how late they will play. Usually in the spring, summer, and fall seasons, on Saturdays, and Sundays the live music starts at 11 AM, when they open. But, I suggest that You always check the website, and / or call them. Because they are always having different great events going on. And, I highly recommend going to Angry Orchid as often as possible. Any day of the week, and anytime of the year, whenever they are open.
You'll have to call and ask
Not really for kids. There's just not a whole lot for the kiddos.
I'd recommend the Serene Vista Spa Bed and Breakfast. It's about 5 minutes up the road from the orchard and the hosts are phenomenal
I had my first glass in 2012!! But i think the offical was in in '10 or '11
Yes! Dogs are allowed but guests must be sat outside if with a dog!
Hi there! Our Orchard Walk Tour and Tasting does not include a tour of the Treehouse.
Outdoor seating only. Patio has heaters while outside patio tables have gas fire pit. Still quite cold outside and windy, so dress appropriately. All tables are clean, sanitzed and spaced per guidelines.
Hey Jennifer! Unfortunately at this time we are not open on Thursdays. Our current hours are Friday-Sunday 11am-6pm!
Hi there! We are currently open for to-go, but look forward to reopening with reservations on July 10th! We will be open Friday-Sunday to start, and plan to expand our hours and offerings in August. For more information please visit the website or follow us on social media @angryorchardwalden See you soon!
Not sure. It's probably not a good idea though.
I recommend a cozy bed and breakfast less than 10 minutes away from the orchard. The Serene Vista bed and breakfast has great hospitality and the host Dan and his wife are extremely friendly, accommodating and down to earth! For dinner I'd also highly recommend going to Lombardi's Italian restaurant in Gardiner about 20 minutes north of the orchard and check out Lake minnewaska while your in the area!
Put in small container adding potting soil first and the seedlings go about half inch into soil water as needed
I believe so
They give you a free sampling when you arrive of 3 ciders. If you go with someone else you can sample all 6 offered. The others like the cask-aged ciders cost about $7.
And Flynn
There is usually sufficient parking ...It is a big place w numerous lots
I'm not sure about an orchestra, but they usually have a live band on the weekends. Regarding tours, there are 3 different tours with different schedules. I would suggest going to their website and look under "plan your visit. "
Its free to get in and you get a tasting of three kinds of ciders on tap. Fun place to go with friends on a nice day and hang out.
Brian is correct no public transportation to Walden....best to take Metro North to Beacon station and then a taxi...drive should be about 20-25 minutes tops. Hope that helps...it is a nice place
Yes, there is a walk-through display of apple orchard equipment and facts. In addition, there are outside games like corn hole, giant jenga, and a large version of connect 4.
According to their website, nothing special. But the orchard is fun to walk through. And there's usually food trucks and games to play and always a fire in the fire pit, lots of good people to hang out with, a fun time you won't forget.

The Tree House is 21+, however, the Cider House is all ages.
Hi who do we get in touch with about the cancelled concert ..rock the roots? I was a vendor there and someone to talk too about the Evp company they hired for that..i just have a couple questions
Many wineries that you could do tastings
Yes they can go on the tour.
it is not pet friendly , was turned away the second i stepped out of my car with a 6 pound dog .
You have to do a tour and no there is no extra cost
It's possible their staff could answer this question if they've claimed their business listing in Google.... But you're right! They are delicious, need to keep a look out for them.
You could of just got an old six pack at a store. Contact the company directly, this probably won't get much of a response.
Probably within 10 miles
No sadly they can't do that. You should research and see if there's anything she can take or put in the tasting as an additive to make the sulfur inert
No they do not.
Yes it is! Tonight’s theme is HARRY POTTER.
There are tables and chairs inside and outside, or you can sit on the grass (usually if it's too crowded). Either way is fine.
Thanks everyone!
Yea they dnt have many other options besides ciders. They often have food trucks if your looking for just a soda. Either way if your going their to drink or just hang out the environment is great they've got lawn games and the views are awesome try to visit the tree house if you can
I believe the best way is to go there and ask for the manager in charge and see if you can get a application.
You can see the cider house and where they bottle the cider. The cider house has a lot of info on the apples they use and where they come from. There's a bar to sample product and a gift shop.
It was free to tour. We werr only charged for purchasing items
Yes, but they check IDs at the bar.
Check their events page. I know on weekends they have a food truck on site
It is and they do.
No they don't offer apple picking. It's ok the apples get put to good use they're made into hard cider
No its free and you get free tasting of I believe it was 3 flights and lawn games are free you can also purchase items
If you return the bottle you can get that 5 cents back. It's why you see people pushing shopping carts full of cans and bottles around the city. Even if you don't recycle it, odds are someone will grab it out of the trash to do so.
