RD's Paving was responsive (apparently hard to find when I was looking), gave a timely and fair estimate, answered my questions quickly, and was able to get me on the schedule and the work done in a very reasonable timeline. Customers can expect the asphalt surface to last 30 or more years. With proper maintenance, many projects can last many more years.
Normally, 24-hours is all that is required to use your new asphalt surface. In very warm weather, we recommend staying off the fresh asphalt for 1 to 2 days as the surface cures.
It is best to have asphalt maintenance done professionally. Many do-it-yourself products are available but not up to the standards used by the professionals at RD’s Paving Inc. We recommend seal coating to be applied within one year of your new driveway or parking lot installation and then every 3 years.
One crew prepares the base to make sure the sub-grade drains properly and is built to the required specifications to support the anticipated load bearing needs. Our crew arrives with state-of-the-art necessary paving equipment and products. Asphalt is placedin one, two, or 3 layers, depending on the required specifications.
All of our work is covered for 12 months. Other options are also available.
