I reserved a cabin online as a base for some hiking I wanted to do in the area (Azure mountain is just down the road). The cabin was AWESOME. Pretty sure the tile floors in the entry way and bathroom had radiant heating elements, and the room was clean, modern, and had that ADK style wood furniture. Guest wifi worked, though I had to ask for the password specifically. There were a TON of deer outside (they feed them) and I saw a spruce grouse while walking outside! I also went to the lodge for dinner and a drink one night, and wow!! This lodge is a favorite place amongst the local snowmobile community. It makes sense since there are so many trails nearby, but it's a happening place for sure on the weekends. Good food & will make it to-go as well! My only complaint about the place has nothing to do with my experience and only with the location-- blue mountain road is challenging for normal cars to navigate in certain weather conditions, so be aware of that if significant snow is expected. No problem in spring/summer/fall though!

A not quite hidden Adirondack gem, and a Buffalo sports backer's bar to boot. Haven't stayed in a cabins, but the bar and restaurant are very cool, woodsy, and well decorated with a few floor games available. Oh, and the owners are top shelf ;-)

I've been here 4 times now, its a 3 hour drive from where I live ,but is well worth the drive. Its really awesome to see the deer 🦌 just outside the window. The food is really good and service is friendly (most the time). I was a little disappointed on my last visit,as the menu options are limited due to Covid19. I was looking forward to mac &cheese and my kids like the sheet nachos ,both of which were taken off the menu. I definitely plan to return again this summer,and maybe rent a cabin they have as well.
