Avoid at all costs buying a titan heater cheaply made in China. This company has been fooling and deceiving or using deceptive practices to make you and everyone else think their heaters are manufactured in the USA. When in fact, they’re NOT made in the USA. I am a licensed plumber and have been installing titan heaters for 10 years. It is no wonder that these heaters only have a one year warranty, and break within the first year of usage. When you bring the heater back to them for service, they do not replace the heater as they should... but rather the lady at the front desk named Maria will grab a refurbished, junk heater from the back and exchange it. This is shady at business practice, especially when you’re returning a heater that is under a year old. The right thing to do would be to replace the heater with a new one, but they do not. This company is in the business of recycling dangerous defeft heaters; once again, this is totally sham business practice. I will never buy another titan heater and install for ANY of my customers. In the past 10 years, I’ve had failure after failure, until I’ve figured it out. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB and the local attorney general office for deceptive busines practices by this company. I have been a 10 year loyal customer of this company, all while they have been lying to me about the quality of their products. I will never use another titan heater ever again, and I suggest you do the same. There are far better options and more reliable water heaters than those of Titan. If you don’t want a fire hazard in your home, stay away from titan water heaters.

great product but the customer service leaves much to be desired. I called this morning to find out about my warranty.. the person didn't seem to want to help, but finally said he could look me up by my name and asked me to hold. over 8 minutes later, I had gotten hung up on once and placed on hold for 3 minutes until I hung up. It's a shame. when you call a company looking for help... about their product and your purchase of their product.. you would think they would treat a return customer with a tiny bit of service. Don't leave people on hold for ten minutes... without any warning of a long hold time so I could decide if it would be better to call back.. and then hang up on them.

Needs mip.connections (male iron pipe).the fine threaded connections not a plumbing friendly product wouldn't recommend to hard to find proper fittings to connect unit.please make unit mip or fip not some oddball fine thread.i guess the manufacturer should have at least one plumber to get stuff right..this tankless blows

You can approach the company and in the repair department they tell you what you have and what it costs.
The filter is changed once a year when maintenance is given.
