We were staying in Walton and had to pass through Franklin; just happened to drive by and decided to stop in for a late lunch since it is a cool looking place and has great reviews. Not to pick on upstate fare, but y’all probably know it’s hit or miss when you drive through these little towns (no disrespect!). We didn’t realize they were closing at 2PM, and when we showed up they made no issue about it and sat us right away, assuring us it wasn’t a problem. Unique menu. My wife and I got the Korean fried chicken sandwich and my father in law got the chicken shish. Wow. Honestly, blown away. Absolutely incredible — fresh and a master blend of ingredients. Can tell a lot of love went into this menu. We finished with some baklava, which was apparently from a Turkish bakery. Amazing quality. Erdem talked with us for a good ten minutes after our meal. Real chill, pleasant dude — and a fellow Long Islander! Offered us umbrellas to get to our car when it started pouring. I’d drive the 3.5 hours up just to come back.

Loved the service here. Multiple cuisines. Very friendly staff. We took an hour long detour just to visit this spot, but we were running late and requested the staff to keep it open after closing hours. They honored our request with a smile. Would love to visit again. Keep up the good work. We need more places like this.

ordered tofu, kung pao chicken and crab wonkons. Tofu and Kung pao chicken came with jasmine rice (topped with cashew nut powder) both are very delicious. Crab wonkons are good and yummy. Chocolate milk and lemonade tastes better when compared to orange juice. In the end we have cheese cake topped with whip cream which was so fresh and yummy

I had an amazing time here. Had the Turkish coffee (was very good), the hummus paté (also very good) and the eggs benedict with sujuk (amazing). They also sliced the eggs benedict in 4, such a nice simple touch and makes it more enjoyable to eat. The people working were very nice. I live about 3 hours away but seriously I will be back here!

Winter hours are in effect.
This place is great. They have great food and service and the decor is lovely. Glad I saw this, didn't know about Tuesday!
Hello! Hasan here, we always try to have at least chicken halal but cannot guarantee. Ask the manager when you’re there what halal meat we have available. But we can definitely arrange whatever halal meat you would want us to serve or have halal options available if you let us know at least a week in advance. Thank you!
They don't serve wine, I didn't ask if you could bring your own but they were very nice I don't see why not. You have to try the pastrami it's the best I've ever had even in Manhattan.
The chicken and beef bacon is generally halal. If you intend on coming we can make arrangements as long as you give us 10 days notice. If it's spur of the moment, just give us a call before you come out and we can let you know what we have that's halal.
It's illegal in NYS, which is ridiculous if you ask me.
Franklin is a, "dry town". Though this might be changing. The coffees, teas, and sodas are great, though.
We’re open tuesdays from 11:00-3:00!
