Horrible!!! Techs are lazy and selfish... property unkempt, limited groups are forever canceled or rescheduled without notice, no fitness facility, no chef, not much therapy, (unless relentlessly pled for) and most of the staff... ( I say most... there are diamonds in the rough!) Are rude and playing ignorant 90% of the time... Run, don't walk away from this website... They wouldn't even let me leave with clean laundry... unforgivable mediocre.

This place is a joke cause..this is the only place I know where if you are in php you can get high or drunk and they still will keep you they just start you bacc over in detox for a couple of days...this place is all about money.. cause I got clean on my on cause a lot of the residents there are still getting high or drunk or both

All a money grab. The advertisement is 100% false. Only 1 picture on the website is true and that’s the picture of the cafeteria, which is dirty & nothing like the picture now. They also state you’ll go on 1 outing a week. We went on 0 the whole time I was there. There’s no Xboxes, no barbecues, no movies under the stars like they say. The only thing you do is sit at picnic tables and smoke cigarettes with 3 pretty terrible groups a day. There was a Covid breakout while I was there. Not 1 staff member quarantined, they even places clients without Covid in the same room as clients with Covid. The only decent thing about this place is the fountain machine and the chips you get for snacks.

6/24/22 Update: I tried calling again. Twice, since my first review. It is very difficult to get in touch with this specific facility--lots of transfers. My voicemail regarding my camera has not been returned, either. Based on another review I just read, written 3 weeks ago, it sounds like they're drowning over there. I agree with this reviewer's statement: Do not send your loved ones there. This place traumatized me and I have been afraid of checking myself into another facility ever since, despite needing the help. I still keep in touch with some of the friends I left behind in treatment, and most of them left under similar circumstances. Refer to my other review under a different account (same name) for more information.

We'd be happy to answer any questions regarding insurance, but it would be helpful for us to get a little more information since options vary depending on the insurance provider. Please give us a call at (786) 484-0497. Thanks!
They took my insurance it was BCBS but I was working at the time an had insurance though my work place but it's a really good place to be at for a rehab they take u place on the weekends like the beach, water parks, movies, bowling, air boat rides on the Everglades all types of outings you can some smoke there they used to give out cigarettes every night around 8pm but I don't know if they still do that there any more so one would have to find out about that over the phone with them an I also have harbor village phone number still an still have one of there shirts they give out to people to wear around advisement
I highly recommend Harbor Village. The people are wonderful. I would call your insurance provider and see what benefits you have for substance/alcohol abuse. And also I would recommend checking on your mental health benefits.
They can look where you live and give you all the aftercare places in your area to keep sober living.
I'm not sure I did not detox from alcohol or opioids my DOC was crack. I think there is a step down process with opioids and medication to help with the withdrawals from alcohol. There is plenty to do throughout the day classes and groups are held with one on one counseling and case managers. Harbor Village offers a safe and controlled environment where the alcoholic/addict can begin the process of recovery and focus on what they need to work on in their personal lives.
It is coed , however women are housed with women and men with men.
Not really i only know a little
If one goes through proper channels and it's safe I think so.
Once you complete the treatment phase. You can then transition to IOP where after certain requirements are met you can work.
Its covered by insurance.
