Excellent coffee with a calming interior!

One of the better coffee places I’ve had in the area. Coming from Portland, I’m pretty pretentious with my coffee. I found the cold brew here to be STRONG and made with an excellent bean. Just a touch of acidity. Could have maybe been a slightly lighter roast, but I’m just a light roast fan. While not cheap, they’re also a lot better priced than some of the awful, gimmicky instagram coffee places around here. Also big props for using paper cups for the cold brew. I forgot to ask for paper and I didn’t even need to! Glad to find a coffee place doing the right thing.

I had two cups of cappuccino at Endorffeine and they were delicious. However, I feel like Endorffeine is more like a coffee lab than a coffee shop, so I would recommend it only to coffee nerds who cares about just the coffee and nothing else. Endorffeine lacks the coffee shop atmosphere, as if the place is created for the coffee maker, not for coffee drinkers. The shop is tucked in the darkest part of a Chinatown plaza and inside the shop feels like evening even at noon. The store has a neat 270 degree bar equipped with various coffee gears but unfortunately it's not open for seating at the time of my visits. Outside, a dozen chairs are cramped in a small fenced area. Every seat is taped with a huge note prohibiting outside food. It is simply not a welcoming scene. I went to Endorffeine four times and twice it was closed. The announcement was only made only on IG (not on Google), with a Closed sign at the door. Even when it opens, I find it hard to understand what kind of coffee shop opens at 9am and only four days a week?

Exquisite espresso and pourover. Beans from top roasters worldwide. Today the espresso was a Rwandan bean roasted by Drop in Sweden, and the pourover was a Burundi roasted by SEY in New York. Worth blowing your caffeine budget for.

All good. Social distanced. Take away only.
Go into the shopping mall; they're directly opposite that mobbed chicken place Howlin' Ray's.
