Sushi was mediocre, I was weary of eating the sushi due to the fact that it was warm and the fish had a strange texture.

Nice place, good prices and very friendly. Fish was fresh and tasty. Lunch specials are hard to beat and more food than I could eat. Delicious.

The menus say one price while you are charged a higher price. That’s really shady and unkind to pull on customers. At the very least give them a verbal heads up about this.

It use to be really good, but the last three times I went their California rolls have this huge chunk of cucumber where that's all I taste, also they use too much rice vinegar...now I go across the street, miss the old cooks Ai though.

Not any more. They had limited delivery back in the 1980's, but there were too many issues.😢
Salmon, tuna (not spicy), or California rolls. These rolls have flavor but not over powering fish taste. Tempura vegetables and shrimp is another yummy option.

I found the prices very reasonable for an "authentic" Japanese restaurant. Prices for a dinner plate are around $10-11 for entree that inc 2 salads(green w/dressing & ice cream scoop of potato salad), miso soup, tsukemono(pickled cabbage) & rice. There's udon(noodle) & rice bowls which can be cheaper but I havent tasted. I have other favorite plates I enjoy eating.
I think of onigiri as musubi. If your definition is the same, answer is NO. All their food can be ordered as take out. You can see their menu on the web.
