This location does not have xray technology according to the rude lady at the desk. Ended up going to the ER which I did not want to do.

The staff at this location could not have been any less caring, helpful, or professional. I stopped in yesterday for a Covid test. After signing in I was informed by the young lady at the front desk that I needed to pay $186 for my visit “because that’s what my insurance says”. When I asked additional questions, another young lady came to the counter to assist. She also could not clarify my questions. I took a seat and after contacting my insurance carrier, I confirmed that MD now was in fact in my network and that 100% of medically necessary Covid testing is covered. When I share this information with the staff they said I needed to have it faxed to MD Now, which I did but it didn’t matter at this point. Bottom line, they made it clear that they didn’t care what my insurance said and made no effort help. I’ve noticed the trend of medical providers wanting more money up-front (aside from a co-pay) instead of sending the bill to the insurance provider and letting it get processed as it should. Don’t let complacency, ignorance or greed become the new normal. Know how your insurance works, and don’t be afraid to ask questions when people ask you for money.
