I absolutely would not recommend this place! My oldest son caught hell behind Covenant House! My three children and I were and still victims of Parental Alienation, Family Violence and Domestic Violence Stalking. Thanks to all the Judges, doctors, lawyers, police and the Florida Department of Children and Families and the woman who beat me up while I was homeless and the police never took her to jail. My son unknowingly became friends with people who were in gangs and they didn't tell him that the brownies that they gave him were laced with Marijuana which, made him sick. He went to the hospital and tested positive for the drug. Covenant House kicked him out because, of this even though he tried to explain the situation. He had no where to go because, I was physically living out on the streets while going to college. I ate at All Saints Soup Kitchen. He ended up back with the gang members and their initiation for him (without telling him.) was to drive the get away car that was used in a strong arm robbery at the 7 Eleven in 2015-2016 which led to jail time and a permenant arrest record. I was forced to sleep in a place unfit for human habitation at this time and unable to take him in. Do not give to this place. I would like to know where the money goes to the homeless young adults and children who reside in places like these. Thank you!

Allison is so kind & helpful beyond my expectations! This facility offers so much to help young adults become productive & get out on their own. Services like, free housing, meals, medical care and so much more. IF YOU NEED HELP DONT HESITATE, they will do what they can with love & kindness ❤️ This is a life saving program & there should be more places like this! THEY CAN ALWAYS USE DONATIONS of all kinds like clothing, shoes & more... so if you can help call them to give back to your community.

I'm so glad that Covenant House was there for me when I was a lost teen. The staff and volunteers were so patient, warm and loving. I have nothing but respect and love for them for helping me get on the right path.

Hello, Covenant house lobby is open 24 hrs. My husband and I have dropped things off after midnight and they were very happy to receive donations that the time was not an issue for them 😊
No
Yes. Please call their telephone number or just walk in. I know this from personal experience.
No. There are only two Covenant House in Florida. One in Fort Lauderdale and the other in Orlando.
How old are you? If you are under 21 then yes
What you want to do is go to either Mrs. Ariana the therapist or Mrs. Louise the person in charge what they are going to ask you is what is your insurance and you need to tell them they will find and schedule an appointment if you dont want to ask either of them ask your floor staff dont be afraid they are there to tell you what they can and can't do they will always help
Not unless the person you're looking for has signed a Release of Information form stating that they give CHF permission to speak to you about them.
You can always call to check on your card length after discharge.
This is a free shelter for youth under 21 although they wont kick you out if you turn 21 while staying inside the covenant house. They have been wonderful in helping me get back on my feet and will help me afford housing for the next year! Wonderful place thanks to the caring staff.
its could be until they turn 21, but ive seen people stay until they were 22, just as long as you follow the rules and dont get discharged
Clothes, meals, baby items. There are activities in which you can participate or volunteer. And as any other not-for-profit organization, monetary donations are always needed and most welcome.
From what I remember they do offer assistance with clothing as well as a clothing room.
