Update: Lowe's never installed the fan, but thanks to front-end manager, Jeannie, who is customer service oriented, I did receive a return on my installation fee. She realizes that if you're going to be at work anyway, why not appreciate, and show that you appreciate, each and every customer! Just treat your customers the way you would like to be treated when you're a customer. This location's customer service has gone so downhill. I bought a ceiling fan with installation package on 8/6/22. When I called them back on 8/15/22 to let them know that it had still not been installed the salesman in lighting said, "It goes to third party for install. We're not responsible." He didn't first check in their system. He didn't apologize for the inconvenience. He simply did not care. I asked to speak to a manager and he too never apologized for the inconvenience. I finally asked for the installation phone number only to call and find out that this Lowe's location indeed had not correctly input the information and installation had no record of the install. Finally a gentleman in plumbing (not lighting, and not a store manager) called to apologize and that the order for installation would now be entered correctly into the system. I still have not heard from installation. I've spent thousands at this location over a span of 33 years, but no more. They have forgotten customer service and the value of a customer. Had one person early on just acted as if they cared about my patronage it would have been so different. Especially since it was their error. Home Depot for me from this point on.
