Excellent theater

I liked it for the fact that the employees were incredibly nice and helpful, and the recliner seats were very comfortable. I'm giving it a 4-star, because of the 2 seats that we reserved, one of them wasn't functioning properly. It wouldn't recline, as it was supposed to. So, during the commercials and Trailers, I ran down to ask for help from the employees, both the guy at the front door, and two employees walking through the hall. One thing that I can totally commend them for, is that they were all on it, calling for someone on their headsets. Before I knew it, a maintenance guy was meeting me at the door to our theater, and I lead him up to our seats. He tested the buttons to make sure that, indeed, they weren't working. Then, he flipped the seats forward. Now, mind you, if you're a maintenance employee in a theater, which could often times be dark, wouldn't you carry a flashlight? I would. But, he didn't. He asked to borrow the flashlight on my phone, which I'd already turned off for the film. So, we had to wait until my phone turned fully back on, which was kind of slow. So he, then, proceeded to insult my intelligence by showing me where to turn the flashlight on on my phone. (No, really?!) So, after plugging and unplugging it a couple times, it reset itself, and he was able to make it work again, just in time for the movie to start. Moral to the story, arrive early enough to make sure that your recliner seats are working, and don't turn off your phone until you know for sure that they are.

No, you will have to use Fandango's website or app. If you are an AMC Stubs member, you can link your rewards card to Fandango.
When we went on Xmas eve... they wanted to see proof of vax. No mention of "or negative test" when asking for our cards.
No Vax card needed as of 11/05/21. Masks are required, vaxxed or not

Yes you do. It's very convenient so that you don't show up to a sold out screening. Very simple process that you can do Online.
Not a true IMAX. There are only a few true IMAX screens in Southern California. Universal City Walk Disney's California Adventure (Soarin' Round the World) California Science Center Fleet Science Center, Balboa Park The Chinese Theater in Hollywood claims to be one however, the theater wasn't built as such. The most true IMAX screen ever built (now defunct) was at Marriott's Great America in Santa Clara, CA
Yes ..open. and you can do I person or online
Nope. Even outside it's bad. If you have your ticket pre-purchased, screenshot the QR code before you arrive. Ditto for your stubs number
You need both. I know that for a 100% fact. It is possible they slip and dont notice a single shot but if they notice they are bot supposed to let you in.
Yes. Simply walk inside to the snack counter to redeem them
I believe it's 10 am - 12am
It depends on the type of experience and the time of day. The prices below are for seniors. Before 5PM: Regular digital auditorium: $9.79 Prime: $13.79 Dolby: $15.79 After 5PM: Regular digital: $13.99 Prime: $17.99 Dolby: $19.99 AMC A-List is an excellent value. For about $24/month, it allows you to see up to 3 movies per week (12 per month) on any of the screens. That's less than the price of 1 1/2 movie tickets.
Yes. They just advertise it as 30 % before 3 but its the same thing.
Yes
Tix are $7 on Tuesday for regular, and $10-12 for IMAX/Dolby. All you need is a free AMC online account.
