Randy did an overall great job with the outdoor lighting of our home. He responded to all of our questions promptly and he and his team did excellent work with the installation. We have received a number or compliments about the nighttime appearance of our home.

We have been extremely pleased with the lighting and services provided over the years by Outdoor Lighting Perspectives. We have been customers for over nine years. The team is knowledgeable, provide a superb lighting system, and have always responded in a most timely fashion to any need we have had. Recently our system went out due to storms. I called for assistance and they responded the next day. Regrettably we are leaving the area and selling our home. I am certain the new owners will be equally pleased with our system and any need they may have. Thank you Outdoor Lighting!!

Can outdoor lights get wet?

It depends on the Ingress Protection rating of your fixture. Some fixtures can get damp, others can be submerged. We use IP65 in most cases, which can handle rain and storms, but not necessarily a flood. https://www.outdoorlights.com/wilmington/resources/blog/2019/october/can-outdoor-lights-get-wet-/

If your outdoor lighting fixtures are not naval brass, they can be corroded over time by salt water and salt water spray. Cleaning and treating them can help. But if you are near the ocean, we recommend going with the marine-grade brass.
