Great course, well maintained, greens are consistent, bunkers are well kept. Range is nice along with the practice greens. Reason for my 1 star review is their booking system. This is the only golf course that I have experienced where I can only book out three days in advance. As someone who comes from out of town to visit Missoula for a weekend or so it is very inconvenient that I can't plan my trip to this course.

A fabulous links course with huge, breaking greens. If you can't hit a fairway you might bring a Weed Wacker. This summer, the greens are extremely fast. If you have an uphill putt and don't sink it, quite possible the ball will be back at your feet.

I worked at canyon river golf course and I loved working there.! I’ve played canyon for 12 years and I have never seen the course in this good of shape!! They hired a new assistant superintendent end of last year that has worked at top notch courses such as whistling straits and it shows!! Anyone looking for a reasonably priced , 18 hole treat come play canyon river!!! Good people , great golf!!!
