This place was amazing! I've never made an online review, but this place was worth taking the time. July_august 2022 camp host is amazing. I so recommend this place.

This place is a gem! Close enough to town to not cost a fortune in gas, if you forgot something stores are close. But don't think it's not roughing it. The site is secluded and surrounded by nature. Trees galore, dirt floors on the sites. A wonderful creek right there, you can explore, or dip your feet, or even more as spots are damned off with rocks for a deeper areas that are a few feet maybe 3 or 4 deep with small waterfalls. I did not see any big wild life but there are a lot of little wild life to spot in and out of the water. It was very relaxing sitting outside listening to the creek babbling and watching some chipmunks run about. The host was friendly and did rounds through out the day and night. The sites were immaculate, equipped with fire pits. Large enough for even the biggest tent. Ours was a three room tent and it was more than accommodated on the site. There are bathrooms through out so you don't have to walk to far. I would recommend this place to anyone, there is even a handicapped site with ease of access for wheelchairs.

Place is nice and clean. Restrooms were clean and had plenty of TP. Sites could use more of a buffer between you and your neighbor and while Fri night was nice Sat was loud and aggravating drinking parents and screaming kids well past midnight and nothing was done to stop it. But all and all not a bad weekend. I will go there again

Mostly small fish. Haven't fished there myself, but saw a dad teaching his kids some catch and release. In deer Park there is horseshoe lake (no camping just fishing with a boat launch) And off of the 2, is Jerry's Landing (camping and fishing with boat docking). Fairly inexpensive.
Yes. My mom has a 16' and I have a 18' and we camped at the same spot. No pull through, but we were able to back in. It's also a loop so you can drive through trying to find your spot
Just there last week and was allowed a fire. I haven't heard of any bans..
