This place used to be sooo different and good, but now it's just plain gross!!...at least at the Downey location...my family and I have gone recently, mostly because of coupon offers, but now that's not even worth it...each time we've gone within the last year or so, the order is either not prepared correctly, tastes gross or a combination thereof. I ordered a side of sweet potato casserole with my Side Sampler plate and had to go back inside and have them give me a different side. It had the consistency of soup and tasted like sour lemons...yuck!!... That on top of the employess telling my brother and sister in law, (who have the same last name), that they would not release my order to them for ANY reason. I was in the same car and they made me get out of the car unwell and show them I.D. for a restaurant order placed online....I was livid!!...The last straw was about 2 weeks ago when I placed a phone order. When I got to the restaurant, the food of course, had not been prepared, their coupon didn't work as the employee stood in front of me on her phone, etc. with the manager having walked away after I talked with her about it. It was downright ridiculous!!...their reason... "well, maybe it's because you ordered side samplers and not something else." The coupon covered individual meals and that includes the side sampler according to their online menu.as I've ordered exactly the same thing before with no problem!! So, I simply walked out without any food. My sister in law gave me a sample of the "gravy" atop of her Country Chicken and it was literally all salt, no flavor...once again...yuck!!... We are officially done Boston Market Downey...I'll be shocked if you stay in business much longer...R.I.P.

I really like the meatloaf meal at this place. But this time it was a little on the dry side. However the corn was the perfect amount of sweet and the mash potatoes were good too! I also got some cornbread and it was the perfect dessert!

Great tasting food, better with coupons! Love their chicken pot pies, meatloaf and rotisserie chicken. Sides are always a plus. Hard to call in orders by phone, they never pick up.
