Expensive. I went for Beach snacks. Wow all their cold drinks are so expensive. Could not find any chilled water anywhere. Good stuff... just expensive.

This was my first visit to a PCC and it was terrific. Top notch produce, perfectly displayed. Great meat and fish. And the overall store layout is very good. The place is spotless, which says what is valued. I may make this my regular store! Definitely gives them a look-see.

Love the assortment of produce and cheeses. The produce is perfectly ripe and there is a selection there that you won't often find at other chain groceries. The biggest drawback is the prices. $4.00 for six organic rainbow carrots is a bit steep. If you are looking to try some cheeses without buying a huge amount, they have little cheese ends for a few dollars a piece. That is probably my favorite part about the store.

The last two times I have come in I have been disappointed in the preparation of sandwiches.. today I got a turkey and cheese sandwich which included a scrap of lettuce and one teeny portion of tomato, like a sliver. I paid over seven dollars for that sandwich and this is the second time this has happened. Also sometimes when you purchase potato salad you get huge chunks of potatoes and a little of anything else. It would help if this were monitored a little more closely. Your soups are incredibly good and so is your self serve bar.

If it's something prepared in-store, it may refer to the fact that the rest of the ingredients (besides the beans) are organic as well (?) If I'm not mistaken though, the USDA term "organic" always refers to an ingredient, not a method of preparation so it may be meaningless.
Good Morning Nancy - Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate the time you have taken to voice your concerns about plastic waste. Reducing waste is something we frequently discuss - from the use of plastic containers for baked goods and deli items to plastic beverage bottles and yogurt cups. June 2018 we announced our Pledge to operate with plastic-free delis by 2022, our Social and Environmental Responsibilities and Merchandising teams are both hard at work with testing compostable replacements for our deli containers. As a grocery retailer and a local leader in sustainability, we believe it is our responsibility to minimize the environmental impacts of the food business.
