I had the Sambolta chicken.... it tasted odd... i let the waiter know. He was very nice and told the manager. Not even half eaten but was charged full price and not asked if i would like something else. Never will i be back again.

Honestly couldn't give any higher recommendation to this place!! The food is amazing and so affordable, ambience feels like fine dining, service is quite good, and most importantly the mission of Delancey Street makes you feel good about coming here to eat. Likely one of the cheapest places you can dine-in in the SF area and actually be satisfied walking out the door. Loved the fried pickles and charcuterie board as appetizers. The fried chicken was also fried the perfection while retaining all the juiciness internally. The shishito peppers were addictive and served as a great side dish. At the time we went, there was a $23 dinner special including the fried pickles, fried chicken (comes w/corn on the cob, potato cakes, coleslaw), and a slice of pumpkin pie for dessert. One of the most satisfying meals we've had all around this past year!

Metered parking on the backside of the restaurant.
Im not sure what you are asking but I will try to answer. My bookclub has met here once a month, the second Saturday, for breakfast for at least the past 15 years. The prices have remained very reasonable in all that time. Two years ago the restaurant closed for remodeling. When it reopened, there were new items on the menu. But many of the old menu items came back with a very modest price increase. Delancey Street is one of San Francisco's best kept secrets.
Yes!
Not yet but soon. Perhaps in a month or so
The original Delancey Street restaurant was located on Union Street.
No you do not. We just walked in and put our name down. Was called in about 10min.
Yes they do have heaters in their sheltered patio area, just not on the street side tables
Street parking or valet. Valet is pretty reasonable, around $6 without tip
Parking meters go until 9pm.
Yes. Child seats and everything, but let them know when making a reservation.
Yes, just show up for an interview and take it from there.
11am to 11pm every day, closed Monday's, 10am to 11pm Saturday's/Sunday's.
It was temporarily closed for renovations and repairs a while back, which is why you may have heard that. It has now reopened.
