There have been some nice improvements done to the park. I always enjoy walking the pier to see the sparkling water.

We found this spot just by scrolling down the shoreline on Google maps. We got takeout from Peter's Kitchen and headed this way on a whim. We went to where the Google dot brings you first. This was like 7:45ish, pm, mid July, so an hour and a half or so before sunset. Parking lot was packed, park was packed, full of families grilling, kids running around screaming, having a great time. It looked beautiful, but rowdy, like a gaggle of rambunctious 10 year olds kind of rowdy. So we back tracked a little, northwards I guess, and two parking lots up, there's a huge lot at the public boat launch and pier. Most of it is specifically for trucks w boat trailers, but there's a row of spots for small cars right at the water line. Immediately to the right of that row, like 100 some feet north of the dock, there's a public beach, with 2 picnic tables just 15 feet off the parking lot, and not a soul to be seen. Gorgeous spot for a serene sunset picnic in public in private. Truly idyllic. Looking out across the bay toward the sea and the setting sun, I told my partner, this is my happy place. I threw the magnet in off the end of the dock a few times after dinner, but it didn't hit on anything.

One of my favorite childhood parks growing up, it's changed a few times over the last few years, there's still a large climbing structure, albeit a bit different then previous iterations. The swings are long gone but more benches and tables are present. It's got some construction going on currently and while it makes the parking lot a little messy, hopefully it'll be short work. However the main reason I come and still enjoy this park; the view from mid spring to late summer is phenomenal.

I adore waterfront parks. Even though there is construction currently going on here. It is a lovely place to enjoy a quiet moment of serenity.

Yes, under the gazebo, big but not many. I think there are a couple and an outdoor sink.
Yes there is
I have not seen any announcement but I sure hope so! It's one of our favorite events of the year!
Yes you can reserve it
Their page say 10-8 most days, but those hours might be outdated. They operate out of a trailer in the parking lot, so if you're looking for a permanent building, it can be easy to miss.
Wow, like, I'm not sure what your question is? It's sought of suspicious and nefarious sounding. What exactly are looking for. I'll do you a favor and forward your question to the Kitsap Sheriffs dept. They probably know the park the best. You do seem to move around alot bakt.
