Lied on paperwork, illegally impounded truck and trailer, excess of $1800 to retrieve for illegal towing. 4 days for truck and trailer because they were closed, we had to wait and pay.. When confronted about his lies deputy became flustered and wouldn't return any phone calls. No paperwork provided to even tell us the reason for tow, because they didn't have one. Watched a sergeant reach into truck , take something and pocketed them left.

Called when my house was broken into and robbed. The police failed to do anything. Told me to handle it through a Civil Lawsuit. I’ve called many times for update and failed to respond. Don’t call them unless you want to waste your time with a clear misunderstanding of rights, the law, and the oath of a Police Officer to uphold those laws

Called last week deputy refused to take a report even after I told her that I needed a report for my works documentation. Called today about a wanted person who had been burglarizing the area and NO ONE SHOWED UP. Not very happy.

Same thing happened to us. We even witnessed a sergeant pocket items he liked from our vehicle and then leave like " everything is free, take your pick." No Consideration for civil rights or the law. Lied on paperwork, illegally towed truck and trailer. Arrested for not providing ID after being approached at midnight while sleeping at a public recreation area that we hold season passes on Christmas Eve. Held for 3 days after being cited and released. For what? Still no paperwork provided. Said there is a bench warrant in a county that the county didn't even know about. No paperwork on any of that either. Lied about why, who and where. $1800 for illegal towing. When pressed for clarification of lies deputy refused to return phone calls. Verbally charged his story three times then told us to read the police report and hung up the phone. WOW all about the $$$. STOMPED ON THE CONSTRUCTION AND CIVIL RIGHTS. BEHAVE AS IF THE LAW DOES NOT PERTAIN TO THEM. ARROGANT CROOKED COPS

You should make a report to the Sheriff’s Office for each incident.
Call the agency that impounded your car for information. Calaveras Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol or Angels PD
