Not impressed with the service. My little one suffered so many times from the expander pain. When I was on trip her mouth had cut because of the wire and couldn’t eat anything and was crying the whole trip. I just want to end my treatment as paid for it and be done.

We decided on Bay Area Orthodontist because the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I first spoke to Sanaz and she was very open to answering all my questions pertaining to braces and treatment options. Lastly, the cost was more affordable than an earlier quote we received at alternate orthodontist- which was awesome! Would highly recommend!

Questions & Answers

How do I turn the screw on my child's expander?

Have your child lay on their back and lift their chin up high and open their mouth as wide as possible. Insert the key carefully into the center hole and gently turn the expander screw by pushing the key from the front towards the back of their mouth until you can’t push anymore AND you see the next hold appear. Carefully remove the key by wiggling it in a down-and-back direction (be careful not to rewind the turn you just made). Turn your expander once per day, unless otherwise instructed.

Do you offer Invisalign?

Invisalign is a type of clear aligner that is used to straighten teeth. Unlike metal braces, Invisalign is virtually invisible and can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing. We offer Invisalign for both adults and children.
