Recommendation: braised pig trotters 卤猪蹄. In expensive Shandong restaurant providing rich options for Chinese style breakfast. Take out only. No table for dine in. Waiting time can be long but we were lucky as we come when they just open. They provide authentic options like soy milk 豆浆, fritters 油条, Chinese savior crepe 煎饼果子, jellied bean curd tofu curd豆腐脑. We tried 旮旯汤 and braised pig trotters 卤猪蹄. There are many different flavors of buns like 猪肉茴香、菠菜、天津小肉包。 As I am from south China, I can feel the love towards sesame sauce from people in the north. They even have it in the soup. I am not used to it but it tastes good. It is very interesting to try. Soy milk and fritters are ok and my favourite is the pig trotters~

Baozi currently thinks the pork and mutton are great, and the eggplant sauce is a bit bland. The three fresh noodles I ordered once were delicious, and I finished drinking all the noodles (a little salty. In contrast, the Tianjin fried noodles is a bit ordinary, I don’t know if it’s a matter of personal taste, I prefer to eat it with sweetness) and fatty fried sauce.
