Awful awful AWFUL! Just had the most dehumanizing, embarrassing, and hostile moment while in this store just the day before Christmas Eve. I went into this CVS in the evening after work to grab some last minute Christmas gifts and household items. I tend to be a slow shopper and I also hop around different isles because I will typically remember something I need and never be close to it. Anyways, I was taking my time shopping around and ended up in the chip isle when a man popped up in my face and said to me “are you suppose to be here” in an aggressive and accusatory tone. “Pull up your hood.” So he could get a look at me and then when he realized I wasn’t who he though I was he just walked away. I even asked him why wouldn’t I be allowed to be in there. There was a gentleman in a black sweater and a beanie following being him and then a woman after that who may or may not have been with the gentleman that approached me. I was shocked. Shaking, and on the verge of tears because I knew exactly what had just happened to me because I’ve worked in loss prevention for major companies over the years. This is NOT appropriate behavior. I was profiled based on my looks and approached in an aggressive manner without apology. When I went to check out and try to speak with a manager, I was gaslit and felt unheard and unassisted. She was being dismissive of everything I was saying. I was holding back my tears and trying to stay calm as my heart raced and stomach turned about the whole situation. What’s even worse is I spent about $250. That will be the last bit of money I spend in a CVS store. This is an outrage. I will be contacting a lawyer and making sure this doesn’t happen to another person again! The harassing employee is apparently named Ken Pult and the Manager I spoke with was Linda (no last name given)

I went to this store to get a lead pencil 0.3 for my college student who has finals tomorrow. I saw some nice poinsettias at the entrance and in my mind get the pencil and grab some of those beautiful flowers for a drive through gift …
