This hotel is an example of how you're supposed to be treated as a guest. They make you feel right at home. We loved our room it was so cozy and warm. Everything that you can want and need is in your room from a coffee machine to water pot warmer, bottled waters, teas and sugars, porcelain cups with saucers, I really felt like royalty and this was the perfect setting for our anniversary weekend. I would definitely stay here again it was a nice treat. The room service went above and beyond, I called down to room service because I wasn't feeling well and wanted to order dinner. I told her I was disappointed because it was our anniversary night and we had planned on going to dinner which I canceled. She not only had cake sent up for our anniversary but she also supplied us with some hot water for tea and provided several teas for me to drink to feel better. Now if that's not pampering I don't know what is.

Hi Alison, We begin setup of our Holiday lobby lighting the week of Thanksgiving, and will have our annual Lighting of The Lobby event the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. If you can, we hope you join us Tuesday, November 27th or throughout the holiday season. Thanks!
Uber or Taxi is my recommendation. Paying for parking runs about $25 to $30 per day if you rent or bring a car.
Hi Sondi, We have a full service spa within the hotel and makeup services are available. More info available here: https://www.therooseveltneworleans.com/health/waldorf-astoria-spa.html
I'm a regular at this hotel, you need a credit card to hold the room. If using an debit card they charge an additional amount along with your room amount. That additional amount cover your incidentals.
There's no shuttle service to or from hotel to the airport. Uber/lyft are best options. One way trip cost is around $35-$40.
No
I wouldn't know. But you definitely should call. I would assume yes. Since they do take a deposit on stays without pets.
After the 6th of Jan
The Creole House is great too! I recommend the Shrimp Yaya. City Park has Christmas in the Oaks which is a drive through of Christmas lights or take a Street car down St.Charles to see the beautiful houses with Christmas lights. Enjoy!
We stayed at the hotel last month and it is quite beautiful and rich in character. The staff was also extremely accommodating and the beignets in the cafe by the lobby were much better than the beignets offered at Cafe Du Monde. Definitely ask for the hazelnut drizzle.
Yes, but the local self park garages are cheaper than the hotel valet
Not that I'm aware and I've stayed here a dozen or so times
It means there are two beds
Unfortunately, I don't know because I didn't check their full services while staying. However, their concierge is amazing. So, if they do not, they can connect you with salons in the area - including making the appointment & getting car/Uber service.
The Saint?
The Roosevelt is actually on Canal Street, but the entrance is on the side street. It is a great location if you are planning on visiting the French Quarter. It is close without all of the noise. The hotel also has great restaurants.
I had a great experience with the room service staff however i would agree with the lack of service everywhere except the Sazarac Bar. Bar tender and room service were awesome. Went on Turkey Day for the Game and the Holiday Brunchand was so disappointed. Spoke with manager at desk and was told everyone was, well almost everyone. Sent a letter and email to upper management over a month ago and havent heard a word back. I assume the lack of management interaction is why the service in MOST areas sucks.
If you want to see the lights, no. If you want a classy pic for a Christmas card for the family, yes.
Jan 2nd? I am planning a trip to NOLA and was wondering if the lights would still be up.
Check in 3pm check out 11am. But we got there at 12pm and our room was ready so we got to check in early.
Not sure about when, but the hotel is beautiful.
Hi Nellie, Stormin' of the Sazerac is this Friday, September 28th. We hope to see you there!
Check with the front desk or the bell captain
Yes they have a Christmas buffet. Very popular, but too late to even think about reservations.
Hi Raymond, You can find rates on our website: http://therooseveltneworleans.com/ We look forward to hosting you in the near future!
